JOB SUMMARY:
Responsible for leading and monitoring inventory control activities on location. In this role, you will manage both assets and employees with emphasis on cost reduction while improving accuracy and timelines.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
1) Coordinate and manage material deliveries, inventory and storage; utilizing a Construction Management/Warehouse Management System (preferably BIM360)
2) Manage material flow from storage locations to production site.
3) Strategically Create plans for warehouse and other storage areas, considering turnover, size, weight, and safety of items stored.
4) Advise employees on care and preservation of items received, stored, and shipped, as well as, methods and use of equipment in handling, storing, and maintaining.
5) Coordinate regular communication with site leaders regarding any deviations to schedule/plan.
6) Ability to be proactive, resourceful, highly motivated with excellent communication skills
QUALIFICATIONS:
1) Bi-Lingual (English/Spanish)—a strong preference but not a requirement
2) Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Construction Management
3) 5+ years related job experience
4) Working knowledge of project and/or construction management systems preferred
5) Knowledge of MS Office & Windows operating system
