JOB SUMMARY
The Aftersales Project Manager (PM) is responsible for the organization of all project related activities and communications that will ensure the successful execution of the project. The PM is also responsible for developing new business associated with an assigned account. The projects executed within the Aftersales team will vary wildly in scope and magnitude. These can vary from a small single day maintenance style endeavors to large multimillion dollar retrofit projects. The center of the project planning will be the project schedule. This will be the marching orders for all project related activities and the guideline to ensure the project is proceeding on plan. The PM will be the chief conduit for communication from the customer and to the related parties within the company including any sub-contractors who have been assigned to carry out project activities. The PM will be responsible to develop the invoicing schedule, to ensure that cash flow is adequately maintained during the course of the Project. The Project Manager (PM) will be responsible for the overall execution of the project. In addition this position will include organizing the production schedule to ensure the timely delivery of product to the field to support the installation schedule. The PM will report results and issues to Sr. Management on a regular basis taking every opportunity to avoid or minimize potential issues to the Project. The PM is expected to travel to the Project site on a regular basis to evaluate progress, maintain effective communication with the field staff and to customer’s sites to provide on-site field support and commissioning. The aftersales PM may at times be required to be “hands on” in the field in order to complete the task at hand. Familiarity with basic field maintenance techniques will be a benefit to the PM.
The Aftersales Project Manager will also be responsible for developing new business within an assigned account. This will include identifying opportunities, developing proposed scope of supply, generating proposals, generation cost estimates, coordinating with systems engineering to generating estimates/proposals associated with larger projects.

QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree (or higher)
- 5+ years’ experience in the parcel industry or related.
- Experience managing a department or focused work team.
- Experience with high level scheduling.
- Experience working with customers in planning and troubleshooting issues.
- Experience in coordinating department activities with other departments.
